above stated purposes we will only provide the minimum required
information necessary to fulfill our obligations.
How do we protect your backup data?
BackupBob is an online storage service and as such it enables you to upload and
store digital content such as text documents, photos and other forms of binary
data. We use a 'double blind' procedure which means that the files you upload
are stored at our partners' data storage facilities and BackupBob has no way of
accessing these files what so ever.
Likewise information that is available to our storage partners are limited to
your first and last names and what else is necessary to verify your logon
information and provide you access to your own data. Thus they do not have
access to your credit card information, your street address etc.
You data is stored at our partner's state of the art data centers and every
reasonable effort is made to keep your data safe. This includes using redundant
networks and storage devices as well as automatic climate control of the server
environment and strict physical access policies.
Our partners enforce strict internal procedures and systems to ensure that the
staff or others cannot access or view the content of your files.
They will never contact you and will never ask for your password or any other
sensible information and you should never ever honor such requests since they
would fraudulent.
BackupBob will never ask you for your login information, password etc. In case
we shall request you to update your account info we will include your first and
last names as a way to let you know that the request is valid and came from
BackupBob.
Under what circumstances do we share your data with others?
BackupBob will not otherwise disclose its customers' personal and account
information unless we have reason to believe that disclosing such information is
necessary to identify, make contact with, or bring legal action against someone
who may be causing harm or interfering with the rights or property of BackupBob,
BackupBob's customers, or others, or where we have a good faith belief that the
law requires such disclosure.
We also will not, except for reasons stated below, disclose to third parties the
contents of any electronic mail or other electronic communications that
BackupBob or its partners stores or transmits for its customers. The

other legal processes that BackupBob determines in its sole discretion to be

crime.
We disclaim any intention to censor, edit or engage in ongoing review or
surveillance of communications stored on or transmitted through our own or our
partners' facilities by customers or others. We will, however, review, delete or
block access to communications that may harm BackupBob, its customers or third
